About Rachel

I am a wife, mother, sister, friend and I live to follow Christ. I love to stay up late, eat way too much chocolate and sink into a comfy sofa for hours with a good book and a cup of coffee.  My simple pleasures are alone time, afternoon naps and meaningful conversations with friends. My husband is truly the most amazing man on earth and he reflects Jesus to me more than any person I’ve ever known.

My children, Olivia & Jackson are indescribable gifts to my life and I’m so blessed that they call me mom.

I don’t aspire to make a name for myself. I just want everything about my life to matter and make a difference – even the messy parts.

I write for my soul’s sake and hope that maybe somewhere in the midst my words will bring healing to a weary soul and hope to a broken heart.

I am encountering a love that has the power to make everything that is ugly and broken; beautiful and whole again. A love that is changing me and convincing me for the first time in my life, that I…. am enough.

More than anything I want the rest of the world to believe that this love is for them too. And so I write

Of life. Of faith. Of hope. Of love.
